If you travel by boat in the archipelago, you have access to a variety of authentic harbours, where you can experience the most fantastic local foods in a genuine archipelago setting - even in the remote outer archipelago!

With this route, we want to tell you about the islands and villages that lie like a pearl necklace over the sea. A chain of cafes and restaurants all well worth a visit. Maybe the goal of your next journey through the archipelago is to try the diverse and varied menus along the way!

If you don't have access to your own boat, don’t panic – all the harbours are accessible by public ferry or even by bus and the majority have accommodation either at the harbour on nearby on the island.

Each harbour has its own charm and atmosphere and depending on the winds can either be lively and packed with boats or quiet and serene. Who knows, maybe this route will inspire you to take up boating!
