Korpo - Korppoo

Korpo, an idyllic, cultural island in the middle of the archipelago is the perfect base for daytrips. Both the outer archipelago and larger neighbouring islands are easily reached on the frequent ferry services, or just send time exploring Korpo by car or bike.

Korpo itself has a large variety of services on offer. You will find everything from small clothing and interior design shops, grocery stores, post office, flower shop, local history museum and a surprisingly good range of restaurants with food for all tastes, from home cooking and grills to fine dining.

Korpo has an active art and culture community. With everything from artist residences, Korpo Sea Jazz, Sibelius in Korpo festival, the Barefoot Trail in Österretais and Korpoström Archipelago Centre.
